BPCBPC Flowmeters for Argon flowmeters for MIG/MAG, TIG welding

BPC (Back pressure compensated) flowmeters for Argon, Argon+CO2 for use in MIG/MAG, TIG welding, available in single scale (Argon), and dual scale (Argon and CO2). This is available in 4-40LPM, 2-25LPM range as standard. Other ranges are available on request.

The flow tubes and outer cover are made from Polycarbonate. The body is made from high quality extruded brass sections. Available in chromium plated or self coloured lacquer finish.

BPC flowmeters are available in two different configuration: Inlet opposite to control knob, and inlet at right angle to control knob.

The flowmeters are calibrated at 2Kg/cm2 back pressure as per the industry standard. Flowmeters are guaranteed for accuracy and the errors are well within the limits required by ISO 17662.  See error boundary curve (VDI/VDE 3513, Sh-2). The flowmeters are calibrated with international traceability and do not require regular calibration since the NFI for Argon accuracy as declared in the “error boundary curves” are guaranteed.

Following are the standard ranges of BPC flowmeters. The ranges are given in LPM. Other ranges can be manufactured against specific request.

Nozzle flow indicator, for welding applications

Nozzle flowmeters are used in MIG/MAG welding to verify the flow at the nozzle, as required by ISO 17662/ISO 3834.  There are two scales printed on the flowtubes –for Argon and CO2 . The cups of the device fits any make of MIG/TIG torch and are made from silicone rubber which can withstand much higher temperature than normal elastomers. This ensure long life of the cups even when used on hot nozzles. The flow tubes and outer tubes are made from Polycarbonate.

These flowmeters do not require regular calibration since the accuracy as declared in the “error boundary curves” (VDI/VDE 3513, Sh-2) are guaranteed. The flowmeters are calibrated with international traceability.
